How to Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Phonixo Reader account at any time from within the app.

⚠️

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once you delete your account, all your progress, word lists, and related data will be permanently removed. No refund will be given for any active subscription.

📋 Steps to Delete Your Account

Open the App

Launch Phonixo Reader on your device and make sure you are signed in with your account. Guest accounts do not have the delete option.

Go to Settings

Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) from the home screen or the app menu to open the Settings page.

Scroll to "Delete Account"

Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and tap the Delete Account card. It is highlighted in red with a trash icon.

Confirm Deletion

A confirmation dialog will appear explaining what will be permanently deleted. Tap Delete account to confirm.

💡 Tap "Cancel" at this step if you change your mind — nothing is deleted yet.

Account Deleted

Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted. You will be automatically signed out and returned to the login screen.

Account & Profile

Your name, email address, and login credentials are permanently removed from our systems.

Learning Progress

All completed levels, word mastery records, and learning milestones are deleted.

Stars & Achievements

Earned stars, badges, and any in-app rewards associated with your account are removed.

Custom Word Lists

Any word lists or custom content linked to your account are permanently deleted.

Authentication Data

Your Google or Apple sign-in link is disconnected and removed from our Firebase authentication system.

💡 What Happens After Deletion

Immediately Signed Out

You are logged out of the app as soon as deletion is complete.

No Recovery

Deleted data cannot be recovered. There is no grace period or undo option.

No Refunds

Subscriptions or purchases are not refunded upon account deletion.

🆕

Fresh Start

You can sign up again with the same email, but all previous progress will be gone.
